Dates & Prices

All courses take place in a photographic studio in Central London. Classes run from 9.30am until 5.30pm daily. The course curriculum is broken down into four parts: Practical, Historical, Personal, and Creative.

1 Week Professional Course - An Introduction To Fashion & Styling. £1200

Days 1-3 concentrates on the Practical, Days 4-5 concentrates on the Creative Module with all students completing a fashion shoot ready to start their portfolio.

PRACTICAL Introduction to Fashion Styling and what it means, The different roles of a Stylist, Getting started as a Fashion Stylist, The role of a Fashion Assistant, What to expect at a Fashion Shoot, The Fashion Cupboard explained, Liaising with PR’s, Calling in clothes and returns, Booking and working with photographers, Castings, working with agents and models, Hair and Make up Industry explained, Creating a visual story, Trend analysis, Studio work vs. location, What to look for at a fashion show, Predicting fashion and how it works in the media, Fashion journalism, Fashion goes abroad – trips, carnets, etiquette, Clothes and how to make them work on Camera, Dressing Celebrities – do’s and don’ts.

CREATIVE 2 days of hands on experience behind the camera, Booking models, Working with hair and make up artists, Creating a visual image from concept to completion with a leading professional fashion photographers, Styling outfits together to create and fit a fashion story, Learning what works on camera, Directing and leading the creative concept.

4 Week  Professional Diploma Course. £3600

This course is only open to those students who have graduated from the Style School 1 week professional course.

PERSONAL How to Break into The industry, Getting a job in Fashion, Finance and setting up, Getting ahead of the pack, CV building and how to go forward

CREATIVE Styling 3 individual shoots for your portfolio (1 on location, and 2 x Studio based) gaining hands on experience behind the camera, Booking models, Working with hair and make up artists, Creating a visual images from concept to completion with leading professional fashion photographers, Styling outfits together to create and fit a fashion story, completing mood boards, Learning what works on camera, Directing and leading the creative concept
