1) What made you want to design in wool rather than any other medium?
It all began in 2006 after struggling to find a beanie in stores with the right mix of slouch and elegance, I designed a cashmere one for myself. I love working with cashmere as it is so luxurious and looks beautiful on anyone.
2) How should your cashmere ideally be worn?
Just enjoy wearing the pieces! My focus is on elegance and simplicity while still looking fresh, never fussy.
3) Tell us a bit about the woman that wears your cashmere?
I think she is difficult to put into one category. She’s any girl that likes to look great even on off duty moments from Saturday brunch to a walk in the park to the Monday morning Starbucks run.
4) Poppy Delevingne is the face of your brand. Why did you choose her?
Poppy always look beautiful. Whether she is on the red carpet or dressed down for the weekend she continues to look great and ever so stylish and is the perfect Madeleine Thompson ambassador.
5) A Cashmere designer should always…
